About Me

I'm a Tasmanian. its rivers, mountains & seas flow through my veins. I feel like a fish out of water when I'm away for too long.

i spent many years crayfishing, sometimes in crazy weather with seas up to 12m height. I've done insane hours derby style scalloping, sometimes exceeding 100 for the week! I've found myself 500m deep, 2km down a shaft, working as a diamond drillers offsider in a gold mine on the rugged west coast of Tasmania. common traits of these workplaces: remote areas, intense labor & long hours. but they always came with some decent down time
allowing for extended periods of freedom.

heavy drinking was a big a part of my early years. it helped me survive. it helped me make friends. it helped me relax, open-up and have fun. but it also allowed me to hide from my problems. it gave me the ability to forget them. it enable me to continue doing jobs that deep down in my soul i knew had served their purpose. now i'm almost 7 years sober.
learning to deal with life without alcohol has been one of the biggest challenges i've ever faced,
but it's also one of the most rewarding things i've done.

in 2017 i was introduced to crypto by my partner in crime @biteysnail & i've been obsessed ever since. it's changed my life. between crypto, art & prospecting there's no where else i'd rather be.

the art:
i've been playing with photography for a many years and started creating digital art a couple of years ago but until recently i kept it all private. i enjoy attempting to express feelings and concepts as i notice them. it's taken a lifetime to realize but prospecting is where my hearts at so the next chapter of my life will  involve producing content related to this. i mainly target sapphires, topaz, zircons, gold & crystals and my intention is to incorporate these finds into my work so expect this in the future! i have a few smaller concepts and one BIG idea waiting, so when finances finally allow it - expect something very cool. if you'd like to sponsor me & enable this to happen sooner, please get in touch - you'll be involved in the process and once it's complete you'll receive something in return very special and truly unique. 
 

On the side, i'm developing my own apps and experimenting with code, not sure where this will lead but i'm having fun so that's all that matters! i'm also looking for work- i'm keen to try my hand at development but willing to consider anything so hit me up on twitter, i'd love to hear from you!
